it must be summer where you are. Here in the tropics, it's RAINING and FLOODING. gracious. I'm making a wish for the sun to come out.



More goodies from Crafty Secrets, and the last bit of one of my favorite trims. I am going to have to get some more pretty soon.....

I got the ribbons and posies from a little dinky shop in a poky old shopping mall. You never know where you'll find the best treasures!

Today I also have a card for The Shabby Tea Room. Our challenge this week is embossing.



I embossed both the cream and kraft cardstock, and used inks to bring out the embossing. My FIRST time embossing and I love it. However I will not use the embossing plates too much as they were borrowed from a friend and it would be dreadful if I spoiled them!

~ Heartwarming Vintage ~ Crafty Secrets Design Team

Last week, I spent a couple of days helping to design some creative scraps for Crafty Secrets. A real stretch of my gray cells, but it was super fun, and I learned a lot.


Somewhere along the line, Sandy (the owner of Crafty Secrets) asked me, like: "Will you join the design team for a full term?"

and I went: "HUH?" <--- in my head
to her: "Umm... yes!"

And then I sat down and made a card to celebrate.



You can see who will be my fellow-DT-members here. I'll be working on crafty projects, as well as digital LOs and artwork, and maybe a few more graphics projects. It's going to be fun!


This card uses a little bit of Birds and Botanicals (postcard image), Little Blessings creative scraps (flower image), Artsy Banner stamps (bottom text), and Love and Support stamps (sentiment and heart image).

 
This one uses Love Mail creative scraps and Artsy Banner stamps....

 
A little gift tag to go along...... some Vintage Photo scraps here. The red rose is from a sweet friend (Patty, thank you!) and I added the white bud in the middle.

~ Birthday Dreams ~ The Craft's Meow

Birthdays. I never have enough cards for those occasions, do you? so I made two more.

I am a little late sharing this card...... sorry about that! This one uses "Just Sayin' " and "Sending You Sunshine"



The little banners come from the Sunshine set and the background stamp (in white ink) and the word bubble (SO CUTE!) come from "Just Sayin'." Two more favorites of mine from TCM. Nina Brackett is once again the designer of these amazing stamps.

So that was for yesterday (sorry for those of you who came by and didn't see my post up) :(

For today...... a totally fun and cute set designed by Michelle Bertuzzi called "It's a Shore Thing"..... I used the little tag and sentiment from the set.


And that awesomely cute little fairy comes from this set released last month. How I love her! :)
