Hello my friends, today I have my last September card for Pixie Dust Paperie. If you have not taken a look at September's kit, Tecolote, go check it out now. Hasn't this been a fun month using this kit? and the great news is, I still have SO MUCH goodies from this kit, I'll keep making more and more fun things. Oh by the way, the sentiment stamp on this card is from Crafty Secrets. I have lots of new stamps from them that I need to play with! will share some projects with them soon.

~ Card Set ~ Pixie Dust Paperie

Hi and happy weekend! :) Something is wrong with these photos, but...nevermind.





Ok, so this card set is really not quite "me" ......... but all the same I loved working with what I had in the Pixie Dust Paperie kit! hard to believe September is almost over and my month of guest designing with them. Thank you Kirsty and Pixies! :)



GORGEOUS FLOWERS in the kit I tell you... and burlap to cut your own leaves.



I added just a few buttons, stamped sentiments, twine, and pearls. All other supplies are within the kit Tecolote. Unbelievably LOTS of goodies and patterned papers.

~ Crafty Secrets DT Challenge ~ Retro Inspiration

Warning: this is officially known as "retro-fail"...






I tried. at least I think I did.
the only thing that came to my mind when I thought of "retro" was: red. So I made a red card. Duh me!

Cherry-patterned paper from Crafty Secrets' Vintage Patterns CD {I can't wait for the next CD to come out! this one is so much fun and loveliness}, Garden Creative Scraps, and Birds and Blossoms Creative Scraps. Other goodies are from Melissa Frances and etsy finds.

~ Special Delivery ~ Crafty Secrets and glittler blossom

hello! are you having a nice day? it's almost midnight here and I need to skip off to bed. But I decided to post first.......
and you know this is so funny I want to laugh AND scream and punch myself at the same time. Remember in my last post, I said "see you for Monday's Crafty Secrets DT challenge" or something like that? I was referring to this week's monday. Unfortunately for me, my brain didn't work right and I didn't realize that our DT challenge is NEXT week. and therefore both you and me have to wait seven more days before we can look at that card. Duh.
(and would you believe it, I came home today in a panic because it was way past the supposed "posting time" and when I logged online to post my card and see what the other DT had created....... my bubble burst upon realizing that NONE of them have posted yet.. haha)

Anyways, I have a little thing to share that I made some time back. Something that I would LOVE to give to a new mom and her new baby girl. I was just thinking that if any of you had someone in mind like that who would need a little encouragement/blessing, I'd love to send you the card so you can write your own message to her. You can email me and I'll send it to the first person who does ok? (hopefully not 100 people will email me or I will die).

Some special things I used on this card: TCM Telegram stamp set, TCM Simply Delightful stamp set, a felt rose from the awesome lovely Annette (hi Annette! :), a vintage print die-cut mini post-card from this etsy shop, lace trim from Little Red Cottage, and my FAVORITE-EVER color of seam-binding from Debbie's etsy shop (hi and thank you Deb!)



A bit more of a simple card...... but it was a piece of therapy for me as I have hardly been crafting nowadays. Something's wrong with the creative strip of my brain I think.

Ok I need to get some sleep. *enormous yawn*

~ Precious Friend ~ Pixie Dust Paperie

Hi Friends :)

Missed ya! I am back with a little project created with September's Pixie Kit......... have you picked yours up from the shop? It's the cutest ever.

Almost all the goodies on this card were part of the kit (except for the fabric flowers).



I've never used seam binding any other way but scrunched; however on this card I ironed it out flat and I love how the bow turned out!



Ok I have to be short and sweet; I am tired out after a long day. I will be back on Monday with Crafty Secret's DT challenge!

~ September Kit ~ Pixie Dust Paperie guest designing

My friends! I want to thank each of you for your patience with me the long stretches of time I have been away. Thank you to those who emailed asking how I was faring, to those who didn't email, and to the rest who simply waited for me to return :)

It is only fair for me to let you know in advance that this could probably be the way things will be for the next few weeks. I will pop in as often as I can to share a tidbit or crafty stuff, but life has taken a turn for the crazy with me, and I have not much time on my hands nowadays. No worries though, I am loving it :) ...



I am here today to share my first project designed with Pixie Dust Paperie's September kit........ Tecolote. Kirsty asked me to guest-design for this month, and it is a super special thing to work with the lovely kit I got in the mail! It is HUGE and UBER-LICIOUS!
