~ Clear and Simple Stamps May Release ~ A Guy Thing

Happy May day! Clear and Simple stamps are releasing THE cutest masculine stamp set this month hereCss-aguything_457_general
I stared at it and wrinkled my face and was about to howl because I couldn't figure out what to do to make a man's card. Then I thought HEY let's make a girly card using the stamps!

That's the "happy birthday" stamp, with just a little different twist.

 I stamped the green frames for those buttons on the tags using the moustache stamps ;o)

 And that's my girl's card using guy stamps. So much more fun!

And of course as it was "a guy thing" set, I felt a heavy responsibility to make some kind of a man's card. Grrrr.

Ties = man's accessory.. check.

Roses. uggh. why did I do that.

Maysotm_3b
Yup I think moths are a man's thing, because I run and scream when I see one.

... here it is in full. I couldn't get it any less frilly. Sigh, I have so much to improve on!

Thanks for bearing with me today ;o)

  3. Both of your cards are super! I like the way you used the moustache as "brackets" on the girly card, then concealed them with a heart and flower ... clever girl. I love your Father's Day card; it is sooo cool. The roses ... my late-husband loved it when I'd surprise him with flowers or a rose now and then ... and he was a big, burly, macho guy. The flowers are perfect ... just glad they're not pink. (Heehee!) :)

  16. Hi Viola, your cards are so beautiful (the second one is manly-beautiful!). I can't do male cards, my Dad has suffered all manners of flowery, birdy, butterfly filled cards and has yet to complain.(to me anyways!)...you are one of 10 kids? Wow! Your mother is amazing :)Good luck with the DT designing!
